The Good

• Extreme performance with no configuration nightmares. (Previously, building a Linux system out at the edge of the performance envelope was difficult.)

• High-performance in processor speed, bandwidth, 2-D and 3-D graphics.

The Bad

• As a graphics workstation, it is still limited by lack of some tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) not being ported to Linux.

• Extreme performance carries a high price tag.
