Connections:

When referring to connections we are refering to the input and outputs available on your DJX for midi and audio purposes. Ports is a term used for computers and older analog keyboards.

However for the sake of the DJX and this writing we will refer to these as connections, jacks, and ports as appropriate. A brief explaination of each is provided for the DJX-1 and 2. The available topics are on the left navigational menu.

On the DJX-1 there are two audio output connections, two audio input connections, two midi connections and a foot switch (Trigger) connection.

On the DJX-2 there are three audio output connections, two audio input connections, and two midi connections

On both the DJX-1 and DJX-2 these connections are basically the same except for the following differences. The Yamaha DJX-1 has a foot switch (Trigger). The Yamaha DJX-2 has a midi out port that does not support full midi.
