Audio Connections: Inputs

NOTE: Never connect a stereo, mixer, CD player or other electronic devices to the Mic Input Jack. Doing so will cause damage to your DJX. The Mic Input Jack is only for use with microphones.

The DJX-1 & DJX-2 both have two primary inputs for audio. These are the Mic Input and the Line Input.

The Mic Iinput can be used for sampling from a microphone. Use it for recording vocals, acoustic instruments, and natrual environmental sounds. If you want to get some really wild samples, you an use a portable cassette deck and a microphone to record live audio from various sound sources. Then later play them into your Line Input.S

The Line Input is for connecting to and recording samples from a line level signal, such as a CD player, Cassette deck, or mixer.
